Abstract: Lowering the number of poverty is one of achievement indicator in public policy. To see the impact of a policy toward reducing poverty, a comprehensive model which replicates socio economic condition of a community is needed. By considering factors affecting the poverty and finding the causative link among those factors, a simulation of several policies scenario can be done. In this research, Surabaya will be choosen as a case study because as a second biggest city in Indonesia (after Jakarta), the city also face with poverty problem. There are several factors affecting poverty in Surabaya: income as measured by Regional Gross Domestic Product, job vacancy and unemployment, education and health. The result of this simulation is a prediction of a policy that can be use by policy maker so that it can be predicted the impact of a certain public policy toward the community.

Abstract: This study was aiming at analyzing and examining internal environment that causes weakness on hospital cost leadership strategy such as the impact of human resources, technology, procedures, and capability. This study was an explanatory research, or in other words, a survey research. It was conducted in East Kalimantan province, in two cities namely Samarinda and Balikpapan. Sampling technique was performed through sampling cluster procedure. Data analysis technique used was average statistic descriptive analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis. The results indicated that internal environment such as human resource, technology, procedures and capability according to hypothesis testing experiment showed that there was no obvious effect of internal environment such as human resource and capability on cost leadership strategy. On the contrary internal environment such as technology and procedures gave obvious effect on cost leadership strategy.

Abstract: Demographic transition, also known as the demographic cycle, describes the movement of death and birth rates in a society from situation where both are high to one where both are low. In the more developed economies, it was appreciated in the nineteenth century that mortality was declining. Fertility levels were believed to have approximated mortality levels over much of human history, but the fact that fertility declined later than mortality during demographic transition inevitably produced rapid population growth. Public policy, in particular in this case population policy, is directed to conform with current conditions of the demographic transitions of the observed countries. Those with lower mortality rates and lower fertility rates as well depict an aged society which can be described as an inverted pyramid with the proportion of the elderly citizens at the apex and the younger ones at the bottom. Population policies are necessarily adopted at national levels. Yet the modern phenomenon of adopting them has been heavily influenced by international opinions and considerations. It is no mere coincidence that attention to population policy, principally in the poorer countries, parallels the period of international assistance to development efforts of those countries. The consequences associated with rapid population growth in poor countries have deprived economic development.

Abstract: Sunsilk shampoo is one of the brand which has been known by the many consumers. There are so many competetors among the product of the shampoo. Sunsilk shampoo is one the brands that are produced by PT. Unilever Tbk. To have a good competetetors, the factories must emphasize the advertisement, promotion and cost. This research uses quantitative approach. It emphasize on the hipotesys, and understanding the result of the test by using F test. It shows that H0 is declined because (180.635) > Table F (2.67). the value H0 shows that free variable X_1, X_2, and X₃ simultanously which is influenced bond variable Y. it means that advertisement (X₁) the effect of the change cost (X₂) and desatisfaction brand (X₃) influence to the decision of the consumers. While variable whichdeominant to the decision brand switching to the sunsilk shampoo consumers is the distisfaction of the consumers which is seen from the coefisien value partial determination and standardized coeffecient beta value so we can say that the consumers also determine the advertiement and the product. The advetisment of the variable T cost 9.426 (p = 0.000) standart signification 5%. The effect varible changing has t cost 7.179 (p = 0.000) significant on 5%. T value variable dissatisfaction consumers 10.115 (p = 0.000). significant 5% dissatisfaction shampoo sunsilk with contribution 0.642. shows with the 0.642 which shows the value partial determination koefisien. Based on this case we can take conclusion that consumers who determine the changing of the brand because of the disatisfation with the quality of the sunsilk shampoo.

Abstract: Indonesia assessed as one of the behavioral state most corrupt in the world. Two notable international institute Transparency International (TI) and of Political Economy Risk Consultancy (PERC) coronate Indonesia as state level of board in habit of corruption practice many times. World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) which during the time donor nations organization for channeling of their loan to Indonesia government have also acknowledged anticipation of corruption practice of overseas debt usage. Corruption Problem in Indonesia not solely administration problem, but the complex problem of concerning various dimension: political, cultural social and economics. Corruption happened caused by parts of social system which do not function can be readjusted so that social system can walk normal return. As system function shares which do not walk, corruption as social behavior which require to be given on to action punish and coherent social sanction. But fighting against corruption is a duty heavy which must be done considered grow on complexity and other problem. Justice of corruption badness not even become law problem, but also require political will desire of power. As a system as shown in functional structural theory, corruption is related between dimension one and other. In functional structural theory there are relation which each other between parts of a system. Corruption cannot be looked into as a separate phenomenon from other, and the eradication of it also require complex action and do not partial.

Abstract: This research is aims to examine relation among stressor and work conflict to work performance of employee at PT. Pertamina (Persero) UP IV Cilacap. The hypothesis was tested in the Multiple Regression Analysis. Respond rate of this study is 86,7%. Abstract: This research is done in order to find out the effect of training to participation, attitude and knowledge of local cooperative members. Generally the local cooperatives were in the village, and there for any assumption that local cooperative members knowledge about cooperation is little bit low. That is why training about the cooperation to the members in order to broaden their knowledge, than they could positively aware about cooperation and actively participated in the all cooperation activity.
