Abstract: Unpredictable and unstable conditions are problems for management in setting up a suitable inventory model to satisfy distribution requirement (retailer, distributor, factory). By modeling the relationship between retailer, distributor and factory into dynamic system model and by setting parameters will help management to see the behavior of a system without changing the real condition. This inventory model simulation (using powersim) is stressed on finding order quantity and order interval for each party in distribution in dealing with customer demand which have a poisson distribution, normal and step input.
